The Pile : A Fantasy Story

I decided to upload this story because I don't think we will rewrite it. The story started as a joke when I was trying out my first computer. My wife had chronic fatigue and was basically living on our couch. The joke was that she would lose things in the pile of reading material next to the couch and thats where the story starts, but it quickly took on a life of its own.
